Dyslexia Assessment Costs

The cost of a full diagnostic dyslexia assessment is from £470 to £550.  I am sympathetic to individual circumstances so please contact me, as I am very happy to offer concessions (reduced prices) at my discretion.

An assessment will detail the analysis made, specify suggested learning and study techniques, and may, if appropriate, give advice to teachers and lecturers on how the student is best taught. I aim to produce the report within three to four weeks.  If there is an urgency I can produce the report faster, subject to an additional fee.

The Assessment Report is a formal document that may allow the holder to receive funding (e.g. DSA), extra time in exams and support from their school, college or university. It is recognised by school, further education and university bodies.

Payment is due berfore or on the date of the assessment meeting. You can pay by bank transfer (preferred) cheque, credit card or cash.

Examination Access Arrangements Test Costs

An Access Arrangements Test (JCQ) includes the approved tests to provide evidence for reasonable adjustments during examinations (GCSE, AS and A Level). The cost of an access arrangements assessment is £275.

1-1 Dyslexia Tuition Costs

I currently have no tuition availability. When I do I charge £50 to 60 per hour.  Typically a course of tuition will last a term, with one session per week of one hour (excluding school holidays). This can be reviewed each term.

Please note if I have to travel to you outside the SE London area I will charge the standard rate of 44p per mile.
