I am a specialist dyslexia teacher and assessor holding a current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC). I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching and Assessment of Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), together with qualifications in education and specialist dyslexia assessment. I am also an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) and am based in the SE22 area of South East London.
I have more than 20 years' experience supporting individuals with dyslexia and related specific learning differences, and I have been providing assessment services through Dulwich Dyslexia for over 17 years. During that time, I have assessed many children, young people, and adults for a wide range of educational, professional, and workplace purposes.
In addition to conducting private assessments for individuals, I provide assessment services for a number of schools, colleges, and universities.
I genuinely enjoy working with people and understand that many individuals feel nervous before an assessment. My aim is to make the process as relaxed, supportive, and positive as possible, whilst providing a thorough and professional assessment that helps individuals better understand their strengths and areas of difficulty.
