Nature of Assessments
A dyslexia assessment is an educational assessment based on professional observations, interviews, background information, and standardised testing.
While we aim to provide accurate and evidence-based assessments, no assessment can guarantee a particular diagnosis or outcome.
A diagnosis of dyslexia or another specific learning difficulty is based on the professional judgement of the assessor and the evidence available at the time of assessment.
Recommendations
Assessment reports may contain recommendations for educational institutions, employers, training providers, or other organisations.
Implementation of any recommendation remains at the discretion of the relevant organisation, subject to its legal obligations and internal policies.
We cannot guarantee that any school, university, employer, examination board, funding body, or other organisation will adopt or implement our recommendations.
